Eighth edition of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 is being presented through this book. The Constitution of 1973 has been amended thoroughly. Twenty-Five Amended Acts and also Legal Frameworks Orders, have been published, amendment thereof is being incorporate all the amendments in appropriate places with related comments.
In the present edition the following leading case titled as mran Ahmad Khan Niazi v. Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, (PLD 2017 S.C.265) has also been added. Efforts have been made to recheck the text of the book so as to rectify any error which might have corrupted due to mechanical fault. I am being a old man reaching above the age of 80 years have made every possible effort error, omission Commission in the present edition however, being an old man and human being is not infallible. I would seek help from the readers and the members of the Bench and the Bar to point out any omission or error so that it may be rectified properly.
